DHAULADHAR MOUNTAIN RANGE
TALANG PASS TREK
The Dhauladhar range lies south of the main Himalayas at an average
elevation of around 4000 - 6000M.
The Talang Pass (4643 Mt) trek is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular
and impressive treks in the Dhauladhars. On this trek, we traverse this Himalayan range and appreciate the sheer geographic diversity – from the
verdant, forested valleys and the flowered meadows carpeted with
wildflowers. Combined with this is the rare sighting of variety of birds, wildlife,
forest and wildflowers and the opportunity to view the snow-capped peaks of Pir Panjal range such as Manimahesh Kailash and we have all the ingredients
for a highly rewarding trekking holiday.
